TOWN OF SEEKONK
CONSERVATION AGENT
The Town of Seekonk is seeking a Conservation Agent with the Conservation Commission. Duties include administering and enforcing the Wetlands Protection Act and the Town of Seekonk Wetlands General Protection Bylaw; coordinating Conservation Commission activities; providing stewardship for lands held in conservancy; reviewing wetland delineations; serving as liaison to applicants, their representative, and other town boards; and supervising a part-time Conservation Assistant. Must have working knowledge of MA Wetlands Protection Act, related conservation laws and regulations and experience in enforcing them. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, civil engineering, or related field and minimum of two years relevant professional experience.
